Four Richardson students earn Pathway to Biliteracy Award

The Lee’s Summit R-7 School District recognized four RHE students with their Pathway to Biliteracy Awards.
Pathway Awards recognize elementary and middle school students who have sought out second language acquisition opportunities in their communities or who have worked to maintain the native language spoken in the home.
The following students earned their Pathway Award at the end of the year:
* Indicates a student is receiving the award for a second time
**Indicates a student is receiving the award for a third time
- Chinese: Sylvia Li (5th grade), Preston Hastings (1st grade)
- Japanese: Kyle Wright* (5th grade)
- Spanish: Cecilia Ruiz Peace (1st grade)
